As someone who dressed up as Abraham Lincoln not one, but two Halloweens in a row, I love Zoe's subject matter! Does she know that she not only shares a birthday with Lincoln, but Darwin as well? I sense another project coming on! http://www.brainpop.com/science/famousscientists/charlesdarwin/

Danielle,
Your niece is one smart cookie! Thanks for sharing a personal example of how BrainPOP partnered with netTrekker can lead to deep learning.

Danielle,
Your post is wonderful. I could see the Wonder in Zoe's eyes. When I was in the 5th grade I had a very creative teacher who brought history to life. We danced the Virginia reel, feasted like Indians and produced a collection of homemade costumes that the theater would have loved. I can only imagine what Miss Esther Holton at Lake Forest Elementary would have done is we'd had Brain Pop too. Thanks for taking me down memory lane. Hats off to Miss Holton and all of the other innovative educators who are keeping kids excited by incorporating great resources such as Brain Pop.
