Glencoe Online: Multilingual Math Glossary

Written by: Christina LoPiccolo

Learning about math terms can sometimes be difficult… it can even seem like it is a different language.  Imagine if you are trying to learn about math and you actually do speak a different language!

Glencoe/McGraw-Hill offers this fantastic multilingual audio glossary with hundreds of math terms defined in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Haitian Creole, English, Hmong, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, and Vietnamese. Just select a letter of the alphabet to get a list of mathematical terms beginning with that letter, choose a language, and click on a term. The spoken definitions are so helpful and include the examples given in the print version.
