Rice University offers an impressive online project about Galileo Galilei, his life and work. This Site of the Day includes a glossary of terms, a timeline, maps, pictures, primary texts, family letters, and sketches. Check out all the controversy in Galileo’s life – all the way up to the Spanish Inquisition.
