Deployments, Homecomings, Changes
In today’s Site of the Day, Sesame Workshop’s “Talk, Listen, Connect” series presents excellent videos about emotional issues that military families go through – such as deployment, homecomings, and dealing with changes. Check out the facilitator guide developed to extend the initiative, which can be used by families experiencing these types of situations. This site teaches how to cope with change and celebrate strength and resilience – a great message and focus for educators and the groups they work with.
