The University of Arizona’s Biology Project provides background information on toxic materials and the body’s response to them. Today’s Site of the Day also features interactive tutorials with assessment questions and an activity in which students can actually acquire and analyze real data on the effects of second-hand smoke. Be sure to explore the various areas including kidneys and metals, general toxicology, and lung toxicology.
