CDC: BAM! The Bully Roundup
Bullying is an on-going problem from elementary school through high school. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers a site that will appeal to 4th-7th graders on ways to bully-proof their lives. The advice is relevant for all ages. Eight extensive tips are given on how to put a bully on notice, how to stay out of the way of a bully, and what do to in the event of being bullied. Also included is an interactive game that can be played against the computer or a friend to learn even more about how to protect oneself against being bullied. For teachers and parents there is an extensive list of resources, both online and print, addressing this situation.
